Arrive with time to spare
Warm-up starts well before the first heat. The time the club gives is arrival at the facility, not the time of the event.
Competition
Federated calendar, results, and everything a family needs to know to live through their first meet.
Competing is the part of the club that is most visible from the outside and the one that takes the most work on the inside. Behind every results sheet there are months of sets, corrections, and early mornings.
Our swimmers compete on the official calendar that corresponds to their category, with a current license and the CNA cap. We go out to race with respect and without complexes, whether the opponent is a neighborhood club or one of the big names in Andalucía.
We work within the official structure of Spanish swimming.
Club Natación Axarquía develops its competitive activity within the framework of the Federación Andaluza de Natación (FAN) and, at the national level, the Real Federación Española de Natación (RFEN). This defines the categories, rules, calendars, and qualifying times for access to each championship.
Every swimmer who competes in official events needs a current federation license, which the club processes at the start of the season. The license includes the mandatory sports insurance and authorizes participation in calendar meets.
If you are coming from another club, the transfer is processed within the deadlines set by federation rules. Check with us in time so you do not miss the start of the competitive season.
Real Federación Española de Natación (RFEN) · Federación Andaluza de Natación (FAN)
The federation license is annual, is processed through the club, and includes the sports insurance required by the rules.

Two caps and two pairs of goggles (they break at the worst moment), a large towel, flip-flops, dry clothes, water, and something light to eat between events.
During the meet the swimmer is with their coach in the team area. You cheer from the stands; corrections come from the coach.
A bad touch or an early start is part of learning, especially in the first seasons. It is explained, it is corrected, and you keep going.
A bad meet does not erase a good term. What we measure is progression over the season, not a single stopwatch.
Many meets are outside the region. The club organizes the logistics and gives advance notice of times and the departure point.
